I saw Amaran today and here goes my review.
Performance: Sivakarthikeyan has brought out a performance of a lifetime as Major Mukund Vardharajan. He breathed life into his role as a husband, father, son and army officer.
Sai Pallavi - OMG, She delivered a performance worthy of a national award. She lived as Indhu Rebecca Varghese. I must say; she never acted as the character. She lived it so well.
Rahul Bose did amazing as the commanding officer. Shyam Mohan Etta delivered an outstanding performance fresh off from his role as JK Adhi in Premalu. Shyamaprasad did well.
Technical aspects: The stunts were so real and custom made for the army. GV Prakash Kumar delivered the best soundtrack for the film and one such song Hey minnale is running through my mind.
The story and screenplay were so lively. Rajkumar Periyasamy has scored a blockbuster hit.
My Favourite scene: SK's Character sings Achamillai Achamillai to the child artist who played Ashreya.
IMO; An amazing film that brings up the story of Mukund Vardharajan to life.
