Performances:

Mammootty brings in a balanced layer of a fun-filled and brilliant detective who is wanting to find a case that could prove his chutzpah. Gokul Suresh is an amazing sidekick who provides a much refreshing take in his performance. Viji Venkatesh as Mrs. Madhuri is an amazing performer who lives up to her potential as a fiercely independent and a close friend for Dominic. Sushmita Bhat provides the hints of a villain who reveals herself at the end of the movie. Shine Tom Chacko provides hilarious relief. Vineeth and Vijay Babu bring in some subtle villainous perks.

Technicalities-

We are often used to seeing investigation thrillers that often go on a serious note but this time Dominic and the Ladies Purse seems to have brought in a fresh change. GVM brings in a style of fun to the mystery. The scripts is amazingly polished. The Fight sequences are choreographed in a small but meaningful way so that the mystery looks intense but has some quirks. Cinematography and Editing work well. Darbuka Siva's first assignment in Mollywood works well.

Overall - Gautham's decent Mallu debut

IMO - The most underrated thriller from the best filmmaker.
